Sekolah Amil sebagai Model Pengembangan Kompetensi Amil dalam Memperkuat Profesionalisme dan Tata Kelola Pengelolaan Zakat

Abstract


Pengelolaan zakat, infak, sedekah, dan dana sosial keagamaan lainnya kini tidak lagi dipandang sebagai aktivitas karitatif semata, melainkan pilar strategis pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Namun potensi zakat nasional masih jauh melampaui realisasi penghimpunannya, sehingga penguatan kompetensi amil menjadi faktor determinan bagi terwujudnya tata kelola zakat yang profesional dan akuntabel. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi amil dalam pengelolaan zakat melalui penyelenggaraan Sekolah Amil Zakat. Mitra kegiatan adalah LAZISMU Banyumas yang menaungi 128 Kantor Layanan di tingkat cabang, ranting, dan amal usaha Muhammadiyah dalam sistem manajemen satu atap, namun menghadapi kesenjangan kapasitas amil serta pembinaan yang masih sporadis. Metode yang digunakan adalah sekolah dengan pendekatan partisipatoris dialogis yang memadukan ceramah, tanya jawab, studi kasus, dan simulasi, dilaksanakan secara bergelombang dengan materi meliputi regulasi zakat di Indonesia, manajemen satu atap, fikih zakat kontemporer, kode etik amil Muhammadiyah, fundraising dan digital fundraising, keuangan dan laporan kas Kantor Layanan, distribusi dan pendayagunaan zakat, serta simulasi canvasing. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest. Hasilnya menunjukkan menguatnya pemahaman peserta atas landasan regulasi pengelolaan zakat, sementara rerata skor keseluruhan relatif bertahan karena kemampuan awal peserta telah tinggi sehingga instrumen kurang sensitif menangkap perubahan. Penentuan skala prioritas penggunaan dana zakat teridentifikasi sebagai aspek yang masih perlu didalami.
